Here is a little UV necklace I've handmade from felt, I've just been playing around with shapes & colours...the theme evidently is UV!! Hopefully I shall be selling them at a little stall at bangor UNI with my lovely creative friends Cath & Nancy! we shall see how that goes & then perhaps onto etsy or ebay or something!! we shall see...

OK, so this is specifically for the purpose of trying "limited colours" even though I'm a colour whore!! This one's for you kitty, let me know what you think?? I quite like it, although I love the clashing colours!! But perhaps sometimes, enough is enough!

Psychadellic Elaine. I've just been having a play today with Photoshop with some images I had already had. Its been good fun. I wish I had my arty friends around me to give me there advice!! Everyone here just says banal and unhelpful things or "yeh that's pretty good" etc. etc. HELP ME!!

Righto, check this out!! Wooo! Basically they're illustrations I have modified and played around with and then printed off and sewn onto a handbag for the girl in the Illustration Ilona, another good friend of mine, this is pretty much the prototype, so she got a freebie (I mean it is her in on the bag, so its sort of fair enough really!! hehe!) I hope you think its cool?? I'm going to do some more however my sewing machine is playing silly buggers...I don't seem to have much luck with sewing machines if I'm honest. I beat them up a bit!! So as soon as I get my machine up and running again its hand-bag central, also I've decided to design and create a dress/range of accesories for my very stylish friends, along with a little zine, depicting them as the amazing icons of cool that they are!! Kitty watch out, coz you're one of them! Plus I plan to do many more...I just need a kick up the bum sometimes!!

Photoshop Mods

I've been itching to at least have a go at something, so I thought I ought to at least have a go at re-working some of the things that I have to work from already. These are hopefully going to be printed onto some tote shopping bags... let's see what "putting things into context" could actually mean?

"Evil" Dave as he perhaps wants you to see him! I chose to use ink as Dave is a comic book illustrator..hence the simplicity of colour choice in my image! 

Ok so There is a definite theme appearing basically I have done a series of images of people who I think have there own individual style and what I wanted to do was capture the general feel for each person as I illustrated them. The above image is William Wood a tree surgeon and also my boyfriend. I hope you love this image as much as I do!

Ok So I've having difficulty loading some of my images just at the moment...but I have some more treats on the way...I hope.

Ok so little miss cara again...I don't think the likeness is too great in any of these, but you catch a good glimpse and the collage was really good fun to do!! Plus the little sketchy one in the middle! I hope Cara likes them, I shall have to wait and get some feedback!! Perhaps a bit more playing on photoshop!! Any words of encouragement, adivise? I have a lot to learn about being an illustrator and I think my journey is just at the beginning of a rediscovery....

I was just playing around with sketches, collage & photoshop. I come from a fashion background and like creating images that relate to that. The inspector can't look at this image without bursting into laughter, if you look at the handbag there is an evil gremlin face...
